About Philip Russotti

Philip Russotti is a Partner at Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, responsible for all trials at the firm and overseeing the trial attorneys' strategy and preparation.

Russotti earned his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

With approximately 45 years of experience, Russotti served as an Assistant District Attorney until 1980 before entering private practice. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist with notable verdicts including $18 million for a construction worker injured by a defective scaffold and $17.5 million for a police shooting victim (October 2003). He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer (2007-2022), holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
