Michael Fitzpatrick

Michael J. Fitzpatrick is a Partner at Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro, Moses & Halperin, LLP, focusing on personal injury litigation with extensive experience in arbitration and mediation.

Fitzpatrick earned his Juris Doctor with honors from New York Law School in 1998, completing his legal education at night while working as a uniformed New York State Court Officer in Manhattan Family Court for six years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from St. John's University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Fitzpatrick began practice in the Brooklyn Tort Division of the New York City Law Department before entering private practice in 2002. He has been selected to Super Lawyers (2018-2022). His notable settlements include $2.75 million in a slip and fall down a retail store staircase and $2.6 million for a passenger struck by a bus.
