Monique Alarcon

Monique Alarcon is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Wisner Baum, focusing on medical device cases, pharmaceutical drug liability, consumer fraud litigation, and police misconduct lawsuits. The firm elevated her to partner in February 2024. Before joining Wisner Baum she worked in civil rights litigation at the law office of Carol A. Sobel, handling police accountability and First Amendment cases.

Monique has successfully sued the Los Angeles and Burbank police departments, and recently secured an $11.8 million verdict against the LAPD for a client permanently blinded in one eye by a non-lethal projectile. She serves as Plaintiffs' Liaison Counsel in the Baby Food Products Liability MDL and Federal-State Court Liaison in the Gardasil MDL, teaches as an adjunct professor coaching Loyola Law School's HNBA moot court team, and volunteers at National Lawyers Guild legal clinics in Skid Row and Venice. She is fluent in Spanish.
