Timothy Loranger

Timothy A. Loranger is a senior partner at Wisner Baum's Los Angeles office who oversees the firm's transportation product liability litigation, including aviation, commercial ground transportation, and military accident cases involving catastrophic injury or wrongful death. A Marine Corps veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Tim worked as an aircraft hydraulic mechanic on RF-4B, F/A-18, and C-130 aircraft, and holds a private pilot license, a background that gives him unusual insight into proving causation in crash cases. He served on the Plaintiffs' Management Committee for the Amtrak Philadelphia derailment MDL and is a past chair of the American Association for Justice Aviation Law Section. Best Lawyers named him Los Angeles Lawyer of the Year for plaintiffs' personal injury litigation in 2020. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern in 2002.
