Brad Smith is Of Counsel at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas in 1995 and his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2000. Smith spent three years in corporate bankruptcy representation before transitioning to personal injury law in 2004, where he has since focused on asbestos-related cases, investigating product exposure sources for individual clients. He has represented hundreds of asbestos clients and served on asbestos creditors committees for Garlock Sealing Technologies, Specialty Products Holding Corp., and Thorpe Insulation Co. bankruptcy proceedings. He is admitted in Texas and before multiple federal district courts in Texas and is a member of the American Association for Justice.
