Leydyluz Symphorien-Restrepo

Leydyluz "Luz" Symphorien-Restrepo is an Attorney at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP who has practiced law since 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2007 and her law degree cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2011. She immigrated to the United States at age nine from a family of pastors and was raised with an emphasis on hard work, diligence, and service.

Symphorien-Restrepo began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Florida's Ninth Judicial Circuit, trying more than 25 felony cases before transitioning to civil litigation. She joined an asbestos litigation firm in 2017 and now devotes her practice entirely to representing clients with mesothelioma and other toxic substance exposure injuries. She is admitted in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey.
