Gregory Hooe

Gregory S. Hooe is a Principal and personal injury attorney at Marks & Harrison, concentrating on civil trial work with emphasis on personal injury matters since 1986. He has practiced law since 1982 and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants over a 40+ year career.

Early in his career, Hooe served as law clerk to the Chief Staff Attorney of the Virginia Supreme Court and as personal law clerk to Justice Albertis S. Harrison, Jr. in 1981. He has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Virginia Supreme Court, and is named as counsel in published opinions including Hot Shot Express, Inc. v. Hattie E. Brooks (2002), Betty J. Via v. City of Richmond (1988), and Marine Development Corporation v. Rodak (1983). He won a $1,119,000 judgment for the plaintiff in a wrongful death case in the Circuit Court of Southampton County.
