Michael Paragano

Michael J. Paragano is a partner at Nagel Rice LLP focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, class actions, and civil litigation. He joined the firm in 2016, having previously worked as a plaintiff-side associate. He clerked for the Honorable Donald W. De Leo, Hudson County Surrogate. Paragano serves as Co-Chairman of the Young Lawyers Division for the Middlesex County Bar Association since 2017 and was named 2022 Young Lawyer of the Year by that organization. He graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law and with honors from Rutgers University.

He has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list annually from 2017 to 2023. Representative matters include settlements ranging from $300,000 to $8 million across personal injury matters including elevator shaft falls, vehicular accidents, premises liability, and animal injury cases. He has also appeared in reported appellate decisions including Balducci v. Cige, 240 N.J. 574 (2020).
