Adam Slater

Adam M. Slater is a member of Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman and is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. He earned his B.A. from Tulane University in 1989 and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1993, where he was named a Paul J. Liacos Scholar and an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar. Slater is admitted in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He served as plaintiffs' lead counsel in the New Jersey pelvic mesh consolidated litigation, co-lead counsel in the federal Valsartan/Irbesartan/Losartan MDL, lead counsel in the Allergan breast implant recall litigation, and co-lead counsel in the Benicar federal MDL.

Notable results include a $358 million Benicar MDL settlement, a $68 million pelvic mesh verdict against C.R. Bard, and an $84 million Volkswagen/Audi class action settlement. He was featured in the Netflix documentary 'The Bleeding Edge' and testified before the Scottish Parliament in February 2015 regarding pelvic mesh device complications. He is a member of the New Jersey and Essex County Bar Associations and the American Association for Justice.
