About Michael Griffith

Michael R. Griffith is an associate at Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman. He earned his B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from The College of New Jersey in 2013 and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 2016, where he served as Senior Notes Editor of the Women's Rights Law Reporter and was a Kinoy-Stavis Public Interest Law Fellow and a graduate fellow for the Eagleton Institute. Before joining the firm, Griffith clerked for the Honorable Robert P. Contillo, P.J. Ch. and the Honorable Menelaos W. Toskos, P.J.Ch., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity Part. He is admitted in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Griffith concentrates his practice in litigation with a focus on mass torts, products liability, personal injury, and medical malpractice. He has published work through the International Mediation Institute and the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution (Vol. 20, Issue 4), which was translated into Hungarian by the University of Miskolc Law Journal. He serves as an At-Large Voting Member on the YLD Executive Committee of the NJSBA and as a volunteer settlement specialist for the Essex County Bar Association.
