Matthew Mendelsohn

Matthew R. Mendelsohn is a member of Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman and is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, a distinction held by fewer than 3% of New Jersey lawyers. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is admitted in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mendelsohn handles complex civil litigation, class actions, mass torts, toxic torts, personal injury, medical malpractice, and defective products cases. Notable results include an $80 million class action settlement for Volkswagen water leaks
