Adam Epstein

Adam M. Epstein is a member of Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman, which he joined in 2014 after earlier experience at a defense litigation firm. He earned his B.S. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 2006 and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2010, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Epstein is admitted in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, car accidents, and class actions. He participated in cases that recovered the $125 million utility pole settlement, a $12.75 million brain injury bus accident settlement, and a $10 million NJ Transit bus accident settlement.

He also obtained a $4.5 million recovery for failure to diagnose malaria. His career recoveries total more than $100 million. He has been named to the Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2018 through 2025 and achieved full Super Lawyer recognition in 2026. He has been selected to Essex County's top lawyers list annually since 2021 by Morris/Essex Health and Life magazine.
