About Max Schuver

Max Schuver is the Senior Mass Torts Counsel at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger (Walkup Personal Injury Lawyers) in San Francisco. He joined the firm in February 2012. His practice covers coordinated actions, personal injury litigation, medical device and drug product liability, and mass disaster matters.

Schuver earned his Juris Doctor from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2010, with a concentration in Public Interest. His law school honors included Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono and CALI and Witkin Awards for Bioethics, Law, and Society. After graduation, he completed an academic fellowship focused on international climate change law and sustainable forestry programs, and contributed pre-publication editing work on UN peacekeeping history.

Notable work includes helping to secure $13.5 billion in settlement funding from bankrupt utility PG&E (2019).

He has been recognized as a 2020 Super Lawyers Northern California Rising Star and is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Bar Association of San Francisco, and Consumer Attorneys of California.
