Amin Omar

Amin M. Omar is a Partner at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP, admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance cum laude from the University of Texas in 1994 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in 2003, where he was named to the Order of Barristers. He also studied abroad at University College London in fall 2002 and later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford in 2020.

Before focusing on plaintiff litigation, Omar began his legal career at a large firm handling commercial disputes for corporations and later joined the leadership team of a startup that developed the largest single-site aluminum plant in the world, where he gained direct expertise in workplace safety, ISO standards, and OSHA regulations. He now applies that operational experience to holding manufacturers accountable when they prioritize profits over the safety of workers and consumers. He has been recognized in Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers from 2022 through 2026.
