Cory Powell

Cory E. Powell is an Attorney at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP who earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis in 1995 and his law degree cum laude from UNT Dallas College of Law in 2022, graduating at age 51 after careers in U.S. military service with combat deployments, civilian work at the Pentagon focused on integrity and accountability, and work as a claims adjuster. He brings the values of preparation, teamwork, and disciplined advocacy to asbestos and talc litigation on behalf of individuals harmed by dangerous product exposure. Powell is admitted in Texas, Washington, New Mexico, and Missouri, as well as multiple federal district courts in those states.
