CPS Energy gas explosion verdict, a $70 million wrongful death recovery in a negligent security case, and a $67.5 million recovery for burn injuries in a home explosion.
He was appointed to the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee in the In Re: Astroworld Festival Litigation following the 2021 concert tragedy. Simmons earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers, and a B.A. with honors from Texas A&M University. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2021, named a Texas Super Lawyer, and recognized in the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers guide.
