Michael Fechner

Michael Fechner is a partner at Lyons & Simmons, promoted to the partnership in December 2025. He represents plaintiffs in complex catastrophic personal injury cases and business disputes before judges, juries, and arbitrators throughout Texas and nationally, and is known for combining trial precision with genuine empathy for clients. Fechner earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2018, where he served as president of the SMU Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers, and a B.S. in political communications from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010.

His honors include Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, the Lawdragon Top 500 Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers guide, Lawdragon 500X Next Generation, Texas Super Lawyers, and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
