Jackson Smith

Jackson Smith is a trial lawyer at Lyons & Simmons who represents plaintiffs in complex catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Before joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jane J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and interned for the Honorable Amos Mazzant, III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, experience that gave him direct insight into how federal courts evaluate complex, high-stakes litigation. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School in 2020, where he was senior managing editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law, and a B.S. cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2015. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, the Lawdragon 500X Next Generation guide, and Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
