Andrew Warshawer

Andrew Warshawer is a trial lawyer who spent more than 18 years at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, serving as a senior prosecutor and later as Deputy Chief of the Trial Division, where he supervised 250 assistant district attorneys at one of the largest prosecutor's offices in the country. He has investigated and tried dozens of cases to jury verdict, ranging from criminal conspiracies and homicides to tenant abuse and fraud, and supervised hundreds of trials. Before joining The Beasley Firm he was the lead attorney on the investigation and prosecution of what was then the largest gang case in the country's history.

A matter prosecuted under a novel legal theory that helped end a decades long gang war and served as a model for similar cases nationwide. Over recent years he has taught trial advocacy techniques to a range of audiences and given seminars to non-legal professionals on testifying effectively as witnesses. At the firm his practice covers complex civil litigation with a focus on medical and professional malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, defamation, and wrongful prosecution actions.
