About Jill Johnston

Jill Johnston is a trial lawyer at The Beasley Firm whose practice pairs courtroom work with keeping injured clients informed through an unfamiliar litigation process. She has represented clients in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, birth injury, serious motor vehicle accident, business and contract, law firm partnership breakup, and employment cases. The firm reports that the cases she has worked on carry a combined settlement and verdict value of roughly $100 million. She was part of the trial team that won a $43.5 million verdict for former Philadelphia Eagles captain Chris Maragos over medical negligence by the former head team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Eagles team physicians from Rothman Orthopaedics.

With Dion Rassias she also obtained a $3 million verdict for a waitress who was grabbed by the neck and kissed by a restaurant patron. She grew up in South Jersey, studied public relations at the University of Maryland on a President's Scholarship, and attended Rutgers Law School in Camden on the Camden Law Dean's Scholarship. She clerked for the Honorable James M. Blaney in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County, and serves as a Senior Hearing Committee Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
