About John Gagliano

John J. Gagliano is counsel at The Beasley Firm and a Florida Bar board certified aviation lawyer, a designation granted by the highest authority in Florida's legal community for expertise in aviation law. He was a Naval Aviator who flew over 80 combat missions in Afghanistan in late 2001 and 2002 and dozens more in Iraq and Afghanistan on a later deployment, earning multiple Air Medals, the Navy Commendation Medal, and Navy Achievement Medals. He holds a J.D. from Temple University's Beasley School of Law and a mechanical engineering degree from Villanova University, and his background as a combat pilot and flight instructor informs his work leading investigative teams and explaining technical evidence to juries.

Since joining a leading aviation law firm in 2008 he has concentrated on complex litigation for a wide range of aviation clients, with reported outcomes exceeding $123 million and numerous multimillion dollar settlements. He handles aviation matters for the firm across the country, including in Texas, Michigan, Florida, and New Jersey. He regularly conducts continuing legal education sessions and has commented on aviation matters for CBS News and CBS Los Angeles.
