About Jim Beasley Jr.

Jim Beasley Jr. is the managing member of The Beasley Firm, a role he took on after his father and mentor, Jim Beasley Sr., died in 2004. He holds three graduate degrees: an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he graduated first in his class with honors. Before law, he studied molecular genetics at Penn after completing Temple University's honors molecular biology program. His practice covers professional malpractice, air crash litigation, libel, and business torts, and the firm reports that his results exceed $300 million in awards for clients.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine and lectures on complex civil litigation. In 2009 he was an award winner for the Philadelphia Volunteer for the Indigent Program. He is also a commercial and multi-engine instrument rated pilot who flies a P-51 Mustang at air shows.
