About David Erbele

David Erbele represents individuals and families in cases involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, dram shop liability, and wrongful death. He joined The Beasley Firm in 2018 and has worked closely with Scott A. Bennett, the firm's leading accident attorney, on complex personal injury and catastrophic injury litigation. Before becoming a lawyer he worked full time as a paralegal at the firm while attending Widener Delaware Law School in the evening. His interest in this work grew out of his own experience: a devastating knee injury in an accident led to numerous surgeries and years of rehabilitation, and he saw firsthand how insurance companies work to limit liability and minimize an injured party's damages.

He has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and awards during his time at the firm. In 2021 he and Bennett secured a $5 million award in a wrongful death case involving two young men killed by a DUI driver on their way home from work, and in 2024 the two obtained a seven figure award in a case involving a motorcyclist killed by a negligent motorist. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5. He grew up in Philadelphia and attended Roman Catholic High School.
