About Scott Bennett

Scott A. Bennett is a Philadelphia trial attorney with 39 years of experience whose caseload runs from medical malpractice to defective and dangerous products to car accidents and other personal injury claims. He began his career with The Beasley Firm in 1977, assisting Jim Beasley Sr. with research and writing for the textbook Product Liability and the Unreasonably Dangerous Requirement, a work that state courts and state supreme courts have relied on as an authority in product liability law. Over the last three decades he has become the firm's principal lawyer for litigation involving car accident claims and insurance companies, and he has won many significant judgments in those cases. He has extensive experience resolving motor vehicle cases that involve roadway defects and related issues. He worked with David Erbele on a $5 million award in a 2021 wrongful death case involving two young men killed by a drunk driver, and in 2024 the pair obtained a seven figure award for the family of a motorcyclist killed by a negligent motorist.
