David Yanoff

David A. Yanoff handles post-trial and appellate work at The Beasley Firm, defending verdicts the firm has won and reviving claims that trial courts dismissed. A native Philadelphian and graduate of Central High School and the University of Pennsylvania, he worked at the firm while attending Temple University Law School, the school that bears the Beasley name, and was hired as an attorney by Jim Beasley immediately after graduating magna cum laude in 1987 and being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. Colleagues regularly draw on his work for important pre-trial motions and responses. His post-trial and appellate work in Fledderman v. Glunk, a medical malpractice case involving the death of a 19-year-old woman, upheld a $20.5 million verdict and returned the case to the trial court for computation of additional damages.

In Tindall v. Friedman, a delayed cancer diagnosis case, his work upheld a $3.8 million verdict and reinstated the judgment against the corporate defendant best able to pay it. In Fernandes v. Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania he preserved a $5 million verdict for a stroke victim and his wife. Cases such as Ladov v. Skrentner and Tiburzio-Kelly v. Montgomery show his work reinstating wrongly dismissed claims and winning new trials.
