Ian Forgie

Ian Forgie is an Associate Attorney at Wagstaff Law Firm. Before joining the firm, he spent nearly ten years litigating single-plaintiff and class action employment matters on the defense side, and he credits that experience with sharpening the skills he now brings to plaintiff-side work on matters closer to his heart. He grew up in Los Angeles and attended UC Berkeley, where he studied history and spent a year abroad in Egypt studying Arabic, before earning his J.D. at UC Berkeley School of Law, where he volunteered as an editor on the Berkeley Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Law. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his children, studying politics, history, and religion, and engaging in political organizing on behalf of progressive causes with a particular focus on environmental issues.
