Madeleine Brumley Clavier is Senior Counsel at Wagstaff Law Firm, focusing primarily on pesticide and consumer products litigation. She was appointed by Judge Jacqueline Corley to the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee in MDL 3101, In Re: Baby Food Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, in which plaintiffs allege that manufacturers knowingly sold baby food contaminated with elevated levels of heavy metals. Before joining the firm in 2022, she led the mass torts department at a mid-sized personal injury firm, working on products liability cases including Roundup, Paraquat, Xarelto, CPAP, Zantac, Taxotere, Hernia Mesh, and IVC Filter. She also represented governmental entities and individuals in opioid litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, helping secure millions of dollars for victims of the opioid crisis in her home state of Louisiana, and represented clients in the Purdue and Mallinckrodt bankruptcies.

She lives in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she serves as the 45th District Representative on the Louisiana Democratic State Central Committee, and is a frequent speaker at HarrisMartin mass tort conferences. She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2016 and her B.A. from Wellesley College in 2011, and is admitted in Louisiana, New York, and Missouri. She is not licensed in Colorado.
