Rebecca Cucu

Rebecca A. Cucu is an Attorney at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP based in Long Beach, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1992 and her law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1998. Cucu has practiced law for more than 25 years, beginning her career in civil defense for insurance companies before discovering her true calling in plaintiff representation.

After eight years on the defense side, she joined a briefing team representing asbestos-related cancer patients, describing the transition as transformative. At DOBS she focuses on legal research and writing in support of mesothelioma and asbestos litigation. She is admitted in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California.
