Kimberly Wald

Kimberly Wald is a partner and trial attorney at The Haggard Law Firm focusing on sexual assault, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, drowning, and boating injury cases. She has obtained over 400 million dollars in jury trials and settlements for clients, and in December 2024 she was part of the trial team that won the 310 million dollar verdict in Orlando in the Sampson wrongful death case arising from the Orlando FreeFall amusement ride. In July 2021 she obtained a 35 million dollar jury verdict for a paralyzed Navy veteran catastrophically injured in a car crash, and in November 2023 a 7.5 million dollar jury verdict in Gainesville in a wrongful death case involving a father of two minor children. Her other results include a 26 million dollar settlement in a non-fatal catastrophic drowning case and second-chair verdicts against major cigarette manufacturers, including a 28.795 million dollar verdict in Konzelman v. R.J.

Reynolds. She began her career at Kelley Uustal in Fort Lauderdale handling complex product liability and medical malpractice cases. In 2024 she was inducted into the Fort Lauderdale chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and she has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star and one of Best Lawyers in America's Ones to Watch from 2020 through 2025. A Fort Lauderdale native, she serves on the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
