Pedro Echarte III

Pedro Echarte III handles negligent security, fire, drowning, and other catastrophic personal injury cases for The Haggard Law Firm. He first worked at the firm as a law student in 2008, rejoined as an associate in 2013 after stints at Greenberg Traurig and Boies Schiller Flexner and a clerkship for Judge Adalberto Jordan on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit, and became a partner in January 2019. In 2016 he secured a 10.6 million dollar settlement for a young father shot six times in an attempted home invasion at a Miami condominium and left an incomplete paraplegic.

His other results include a 3.85 million dollar recovery in 2021 in a drive-by shooting negligent security wrongful death case, a 3.6 million dollar settlement in 2022 with Managing Partner Michael Haggard in the wrongful death of DeAngelo Tillie, and a successful Title IX case in 2020 against the School Board of Miami-Dade County on behalf of several victims of sexual abuse. He served as 2023 President-Elect of the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association, sits on the board of Kristi House, and has been named to the Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and Florida Trend Legal Elite lists. He graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Miami School of Law.
