Maegan Bridwell

Maegan Bridwell is a trial attorney at The Haggard Law Firm based in the firm's Tampa office. She represents victims in complex, high-stakes personal injury cases, including negligent security, drownings, sexual assault, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Before joining the firm in 2025, she spent more than a decade at the defense firm Kubicki Draper, starting as a summer associate in Miami and rising to shareholder in the firm's Tampa office, where she litigated complex personal injury, bad faith, automobile, premises liability, and medical malpractice matters and led the firm's summer associate program. After years defending individuals and businesses in high-stakes litigation, she moved to plaintiff's work to represent people harmed by negligence.

She has filed negligent security lawsuits on behalf of shooting survivors at Tampa apartment complexes and represents the family of a 3-year-old who drowned in an unsecured retention pond in Palm Harbor. She earned her law degree magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review, after a business management degree from the University of Florida and two Academic All-American seasons playing college softball at Pasco-Hernando State College. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America's Ones to Watch.
