Sean Cook

Sean T. Cook is a partner at Hamilton Wingo who concentrates on catastrophic injury cases. His background includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and before joining the firm he served as lead attorney on a large volume of plaintiff personal injury and employment law cases through all stages of litigation. In 2024 he helped secure a multimillion-dollar unanimous jury verdict against Walmart for a customer who suffered a broken hip requiring surgery in a store parking lot, a result that ranked among the Top 50 jury verdicts in Texas that year.

He is licensed in both Texas and California and admitted to all four federal district courts in Texas. His recognitions include Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch (2026) and prior selection to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, and he is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Cook earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served on the National Trial Advocacy Board and the Dean's Leadership Council, and a B.S. from Florida State University.
